I like being outdoors and enjoy hiking, swimming, canoeing, and bicycling.
When I was a kid, I rode my bike everywhere including my job as a lifeguard and swim instructor at a community pool, a 200+
mile trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and school. Now, my outdoor activities are typically limited to weekends and runs
around the neighborhood and at the "Y" tracks.
Inside, I like to cook and bake, read some, and hang out with my husband
and two boys. Internet surfing is a favorite past-time.

Alum Cave
Here's my hiking group on our trip to Mount LeConte in the Great
Smoky Mountains; there were 8 of us from my church. The fellowship coordinator at our church arranged this two-day, one-night
excursion but I used the Internet to learn more about LeConte Lodge (our lodging for the night) and the trails to the lodge.
When we got back, I assembled a photo-story of the trip into a PowerPoint slideshow that was shown at the church's
contemporary service.
